I was looking at the 1970 championship noticing Jacky Ickx needed only one more win to take the championship and saw that 4th place in the US grand prix with pole position and fastest lap assuming it was another ferrari masterclass just to find out he probably intentionally bottled the championship saying "the fuel line problem was a fortunate one" because he didn't want to beat out someone who couldn't defend against him?

So based on my research I don't think Jochen would've let Jacky hit but do y'all think the opposite could happen? I feel like Jacky almost wanted Jochen to hit😭
