Oscar now has the most race wins in a single season of any F1 driver from Australia (6), surpassing Sir Jack Brabham and Alan Jones (5).
(although there were 10-14 fewer races per season back when Brabham and Jones were competing. but still cool stat!)
He also now equals Daniel Ricciardo's number of career wins (8) and is only one off from equaling Mark Webber's number of career wins (9). For additional information, I believe Brabham and Jones have 14 and 12 career wins respectively.
