Finally putting my thoughts together now that I’ve watched POTD twice (I haven’t been strong enough to watch it more yet lmao) and restarting all of Thirteen’s era. I’ve realized that even though Eleven was my first Doctor and Clara’s relationship/friendship with Eleven and Twelve pretty much was my whole focus and the reason I really got into the show initially, Thirteen’s era is my favorite overall. It’s very warm and comforting and I think that’s because of both Jodie and The Doctor and Mandip/Yaz. I loved all the companions, they all grew and learned so much. Especially Yaz. I loved watching her become more confident and get closer with the Doctor and realize her feelings (with the help of Dan). Plus, the DW social media accounts even reposting and sharing Thasmin moments and fanart instead of forgetting about them. I was also part of dw twitter back in Eleven’s era and it was so different. Thirteen Stans/thassies are so nice and kind and talented. And Jodie and Mandip have just been wonderful. I’m going to miss them so much.
