13.  Dune Based on Moebius’ concept art for Jodorowski’s Dune.  The Emperor was cast to be played by Salvador Dali, who wanted to be the highest paid actor in the world, at $100,000 per minute on screen, with the rest of his scenes played by a robot lookalike, on the condition he would receive the robot afterwards.
