Joe Stu x  Yeshen -  Crashland

Crashland is the new single from the collaborative EP between US-based emcee Joe Stu and UK-based producer Yeshen. Initially meeting through a SoundCloud collaboration, the two forged a working relationship. Eventually, this process began to mold into the Across Waters EP.

The song offers engaging underground vibes and some interesting rap flows which complimented the lyrics. The beat was solid and definitely would appeal to a certain type of hip hop head that loves the left field back packer sound!

I’ve never known much about traditional Japanese dance(舞踊). I was invited to see a family friend, who has since moved from #Joestu to California, perform locally with her friends at the Sakaguchi Memorial Hall in Kubiki. I was treated to an intimate performance of traditional dance, Taiki drumming, folk dancing, and even Japanese-styled belly dancing. Absolutely beautiful, absolutely amazing! Thank you SHIHO, Sachiko, the group Kohaku (“Amber, ” from California) and Tendo Miki (at 坂口記念館)
