Anyway I really like Major Liberty because he is a guy who is haunted, specifically, by the ghost of Paul Revere, which is just hilarious to me because if you have like, a Founding Fathers themed hero in WW2, you would think it would be George Washington or something, but no, they went for Paul Revere.
What I find also hilarious is that it isn't like, Paul Revere possesses him and he gets his powers. No, Major Liberty has to ride behind Paul Revere. I don't actually know why this guy is important I feel like Paul Revere could fight Nazis without Major Liberty given he's clearly tangible.
Also his real name is John Liberty because of course it is and he's an American history professor. And he is called Mr Liberty in his first appearance but then the ghost of Paul Revere gives him an upgrade and he becomes a major because I guess the ghost of Paul Revere has that power. I dunno.
