Jaws 3-D (1983)
A mom and a baby great white shark get into SeaWorld and kill the hell out of some people. This shark is rabid. Like, breaks glass and is an evil genius. So it’s less cool than the original, which was just about an angry aggressive shark. The 3D parts were obviously not 3D when I watched it, but they were clearly there. An arm flying out, water spurting up. It was all outlined with a thick dark line so you could tell it was super fake. I would not consider the 3D well done, but I am living in the future. They don’t consider this film canon, for some reason, although the brothers in it are the sheriffs son. The sheriff and his wife do not appear, nor does the film take place anywhere near the original town. It’s not bad, but kind of ridiculous.
Rating: C. It’s campy, so I enjoyed it more than the second movie.
Here's Ensign Mendon, not to be confused with Starfleet Academy candidate Mordock. The Mordock action figure shows a photo of Mendon; I guess Wesley isn't the only one who has trouble telling them apart.
