Summer is off to a shaky start for some in St. Bernie.
You may recall that Bella and Guy are expecting their first child, and they are also in a tiny one-bedroom house which is already cramped because they have three dogs. So, first thing's first! Time to sell whatever inventory any of the household members have and try to upgrade to a larger house!
Here we are! A lovely little two bedroom home right beside the community garden which will be helpful for Guy's gardening skill in the Science career! Hey! They'll be right next door to Lori!

Guy was at work and Bella rolled the want to visit the spa so I was of course zooming around town to see what was going on when I realized something...Jennifer Martinez has been pregnant for what seems like a long time now. In fact, I'm pretty sure she should have given birth. I went into map mode to find her and what do you know?
Poor girl! She's a long way from the hospital! I wonder how long she's been in labor...Bella was just finishing up so I directed her to take Jennifer to the hospital.
Aaaaaand that wound up being a mistake because she WAS stuck giving birth so of course my game crashed for the first time in forever...wah wah wah...
Thankfully I had saved recently so I only had to replay a couple of hours, but Jennifer's pregnancy was poofed from existence. I was sort of hoping just the delivery would be cancelled and she'd give birth the next day like what happened when Jess was stuck giving birth at the end of my last Redwood Harbor Rotation. No such luck though.
At least this time Bella didn't have to rush across town to drive Jennifer to the hospital. Instead she spent some quality time with the dogs, flea bath for oldest dog, Chico, included.
Catching up on town gossip, Freddie and Angela are now exclusive (we'll see how long that lasts), Jasmine still has some sticky fingers, and John and Genivieve might be getting back together?

The next day, George and Ruth were still on vacation and both kids went to school. By the looks of it, Genevieve is still planning on going to prom with John. . .
Yikes, I wonder how this is going to go...
It's Margo's turn to go on a class field trip. Bahahaha!! Poor Pablo!! Again! Facepalm, he must dread every time he has to chase after the Snooty kids, LOL!

A night of humiliation. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that he and Genevieve are officially OVER...and by de facto Lawerence and Jill too.
Maybe it's a pity vote, but you know what? He needs some cheering up.
And after all that teenage angst and drama, I made a decision. Next time I am in the Fitzgerald household, I'm going to move the four teens in together and do a stint in university with them all since they're all the same age! It'll add an extra week or so to gameplay, but I think it will be fun!

Umm...Did I miss something at school today!? John and Genevieve immediately started fighting and he accused her of cheating with Lawerence! I mean Lawerence has been living with the Fitzgeralds after getting kicked out of his home for the second time, but seriously...what is going on!?
While that drama unfolded I got another notification! Another baby! These two will definitely need to move when I get to their household too! They're currently in a one bedroom home.
Oh wow! They ARE flirting!! And not only in front of John, but Jill too! And Lawerence is dating Jill! Oh, John...I have a feeling you're in for some teenage heartache :/
Um...yeah, I think you should leave and take Lawerence with you while you're at it! Poor John!

They were so far behind on laundry that when Ruth finally got a load going the washer started leaking. But that didn't stop anyone from deciding the puddle was the exact right spot to have a conversation, LOL! On a side note, this was so cute. John needed to spend some good quality time with both his parents.

John and Genevieve have been dating since the beginning of the playthrough and he hasn't so much as given her a call the entire time I've been in the household! Prom is coming up, he better spend some quality time with her so she doesn't go with Lawerence again this year!

I checked in on the rest of the family real quick and discovered George at the Consignment Store...Umm...This is the cashier...Why game Why!!??

I ended out the night cruising around town to see what everyone else was up to and came across Ivy Blue and Freddie Cox on an adorable date! I really hope these two stay together, they're so well matched!
LOL! I didn't even know he was having one! Glad that's over, John still has his homework from the night before.
Aww...the benefits of living on St. Bernie...Nothing like doing homework at six am in front of a waterfall with wild horses. At least he's close to the Science Center, I believe he's got a class trip to the Science Center today!
Back home, Margo is getting help from Dad before school. Got to have that homework done if you want to keep up your grades!

The sun is rising on a new household, the Snooty family! This is a family that I've made in EVERY Sims game I've owned, starting waaaay back with TS1!
Well, I take that back, I did download TS4 when it became free, but I'll be honest. After playing TS3 for years which incorporated the three things that I'd always wished for (open world, story progression for non actives, and the color wheel/ create a style so things could ACTUALLY match) I just couldn't...personal preference.
ANYWHO, throughout the playthrough I've gotten notifications that parents George and Ruth have random fights in public. This has left me curious about the state of their marriage...
Umm...this is just weird, I'm sorry...Ruth is sharing a bed with her teenage son rather than sleep upstairs with her husband, or ANY one of them crashing on the couch. I've honestly never seen this in my game before...this needs to be remedied ASAP. Ruth! I don't care how much you and George fight and I don't care how much he snores! Your son needs his privacy!
With all the beds now assigned, it's off to school/work for everyone still at home. Margo don't miss the bus!

Aww...It looks like we have our first teen romance. I sure hope this doesn't make Lawerence jealous, he is best friends with John and I thought he had an interest in Genevieve. I guess we'll have to see how this all progresses...
