Green Day

Green Day is one of my all time Favorite bands. I've LOVED them since the first time I heard Good Riddance. I've come so Close to seeing them a few times in the past, but never got to. There's a family story that one of my uncle's played in their band but quit before they made it bug because of "personal differences" (I'm still not 100% sure I believe that but it sounds cool).

Green Day is my home town Band. Billie Joe and Mike Dirnt are From my home town, Rodeo California. They went to my middle and high schools (Carquinez and John Swett) (I didn't go to Hillcrest Elementary because both my parents worked long hours so I went to Marie A. Murphy in El Sobrante because there was a Daycare right next to the school)

I'm FINALLY making my Childhood dreams of seeing My Hometown Band come true! I'm going to go see them in Oakland this Saturday, down in the pit beneath the stage. I am beyond excited!

Also, I'm a little tempted to see if I have a John Swett PE shirt lying around somewhere cuz.. why not?
