Awaiting John Coghlan, then it all got a bit hazy #johncoghlan (at The Globe Cardiff)
STATUS QUO In My Chair. Rare [in this condition!] 1970 UK 7" vinyl single on Pye with an intact four prong centre, also including Gerdundula, in very scarce group picture sleeve. The sleeve displays only a little light general wear & signs of age, whilst the vinyl looks barely played - You would be hard pressed to find a better copy of this without a time machine! STATUS QUO Dog Of Two Head. 1971 UK 10-track LP, the fourth album from The Quo which spawned one UK Top 20 hit, Mean Girl [although that didn't happen until 1973]. The gatefold picture sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with a little light fading on the spine & the vinyl remains Excellent with little sign of play. THE SPECTRES I (Who Have Nothing). Monster Rare 1967 Japanese wide centred 7" vinyl single, featuring a pre-Status Quo, Francis Rossi (guitar, vocals), Alan Lancaster (bass, vocals), Roy Lynes (keyboards, vocals) & John Coghlan (drums). The Spectres signed a five-year deal with Piccadilly Records in the summer of '66 & this was their debut single, produced by John Schroeder, it hit the British record shops in September & then worldwide in Japan in January the following year. It remains one of the most elusive records relating to the mighty Quo! Our Japanese buyer had to stray further afield in order to find one for the first time. Featuring 'Neighbour, Neighbour' on the b-side & complete with the original die-cut company sleeve & unique wraparound lyric picture sleeve.
