http://logs.omegle.com/c3c4e1e Surprising prompt, but fun no less. I certainly liked it. Especially because I'm feeling like crap and my stomach is not happy with me. Thanks for the fun, stranger!

It's been so long since I've done any Johniarty. I absolutely adore it, as well as everything else obviously. However, I love the dynamic and ideal-how its portrayed. Just love Calm collected John and devious dark Jim. Never the matter, thank you so much, stranger!
Stranger: Jim and John had been best friends when they were younger. They were only a few months apart in age, and almost inseperable. When they were small, they were neighbors, constantly at the other's house. When the pair were eleven, Jim's father got a new job and they moved across the country. Despite promising to keep in touch, the two didn't speak again.
Jim walked into the lab at Bart's hospital, following the annoyingly peppy pathologist that he was 'dating' to meet her good friend, Sherlock Holmes. He entered the room and looked over the occupants of it, smiling at them goofily. "Hi, I'm Jim," he introduced himself with a small wave. The brunet looked around, getting a better look at the man Molly had said was Sherlock's friend John. He frowned. "John?" he asked, recognising him. ((I have this, I also have other ones if you don't like this one.))
You: It had been so long ago, but that didn't mean he still didn't feel rather odd about it. It wasn't as if he could just let it go-not when you became that attached. Jim had always been that one constant in his life until-well-he wasn't any longer. Hell, the other male had been the basis of his every friendship until he'd made it to Afghanistan. Then it wasn't so odd, people stopped talking after promising long winded letters and tiresome quick phone calls. Not that he was older, more mature, and far too damaged, it was as if he'd forgotten it all. All until Jim had walked right back into his life, quite literally. Looking up at the sound of his name, John startled, recognizing those dark impenetrable eyes and the lithe small frame. Still bloody taller than him, but not nearly so Sherlockian. "Jesus... Jim? Christ, is that... My /hell/, look at you!" He grinned, chuffed and bubbly, if but still in disbelief.
Stranger: The dark haired man grinned widely at him, still not quite believing that it was his old friend in front of him. Not only that, but he was also apparently the flat mate of one Sherlock Holmes, which would be a slight problem, but too big of one. "No way," he laughed, looking the shorter blond up and down in disbelief. "You're still ridiculously short," he smirked at him, looking up to meet his gaze. He moved forward to hug him, but stopped himself, not thinking it would be appreciated. "John, I have to say, you are the very last person I would have expected to see today," he shook his head, still grinning widely as he stared at him.
You: "Christ, you're not much taller than I!" John shot back, not missing a bit as he approached the other. "You've grown well, I mean, bloody look at you. Not all skin and bone any longer now, are you?" The blond chuckled, not giving one whit about the lack advancement in the hug. He stepped forward, breaching the space to draw the man in. It was odd, bit awkward, but at the same time... It was nice. Seeing someone he had known before the going had gotten tough. It only led him to a minor self doubt-an insecurity that began to wheedle at his nerves. Could Jim tell he was broken? God, he bloody hoped not. "I didn't think I'd ever see you again myself. How are you?"
Stranger: Relaxing into the hug, he wrapped his arms around the other, still smiling as he laughed slightly. "I'm still taller than you, which given your height, I guess that's not really that big of an accomplishment," he retorted, shaking his head slightly as he watched him closely. "No, I made sure to actually eat, even though you weren't there to force the food down my throat," Jim chuckled. Pulling away, he ran a hand through his hair, "I've been good, moved back here from Dublin a few months ago, other than that, it's been fairly normal, boring even. You can only do so much without partner in crime. What about you? I mean, you must have done something exciting," he asked him,
You: The question that always came up. What now? The only thing he could answer for was war and that brought an obvious hesitation to his expression and 5'6 stature. "An old childhood friend, before war obviously and... Mm, /gay/." Sherlock, always ready to interject, spoke up. Which was both unnerving and relieving really, just also the tiniest bit embarrassing. "Jesus, Sherlock,' John started, giving the man across from him an apologetic frown. "I've mostly been with this bloody prat-chasing after him while he's on case. I'm his flatmate and blogger. He goes out and solves cases and I type em up." He smiled, openly avoiding the talk of war and Afghanistan lest it become obvious just how much it had affected him. Not matter how much glue was used to repair his shell, it was still visibly cracked. "He's a bit... Coarse, but he's rather a delight once you get to know him."
Stranger: Hearing Sherlock speak up, Jim raised an eyebrow at the man's deductions. He rolled his eyes at the man and then grinned. "Former addict, antisocial. and ummm...pillock," he told him in the same tone and then looked at John. "How exciting your life must be," he grinned, not bringing up the war thing the detective had mentioned, it obviously being a harsh subject for the blond. "How on Earth did you manage to put up with this one long enough to get to know him?" he grinned, shaking his head slightly. "Well, I guess you did have plenty of practice after putting up with me, although I would think I was a bit more fun," he paused, thinking for a moment. "So you now help the police instead of getting arrested? How dull," he commented, giggling.
You: Now, John typically went through several emotions in a day, but never flabbergasted. He'd gotten used to Sherlock's deductions and the awe of them, not that they still weren't bloody amazing. Because they were, amazing, /fantastic/ even, he just hadn't expected Jim to be... Well, /Jim/. Picking his jaw up from the floor, John looked from the male to the seemingly surprised detective with his hand still on the edge of his current slide. "Right... Well then," the blond rushed, clapping his hands together as another form of distraction. "He's rather brilliant, has this amazing skill of being able to deduce things, and... Shite, I can't believe you're going on about that one time-because it was /one/ time. And if it hadn't been for your bloody plan, I wouldn't have done it." John snorted, though there was a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "But it was fun... So damningly fun, wasn't it?"
Stranger: The brunet grinned widely at John's expression, rolling his eyes slightly in amusement. He shot the detective a look, smirking slightly. "Don't so surprised, other people other than you can be intelligent," he told the taller man, eyes sparkling. Looking back at John with a raised eyebrow at the sound of the clap. "Yes, I am getting that," he chuckled, "And I'm not going to let it go, my plan was brilliant and you were the one to muck it all up." Jim shifted slightly on his feet, still laughing slightly. "Besides, their faces when they realized that two nine years old's managed to get through all their security systems, that was the best part, although I guess laughing at them only got us into more trouble," shrugging, he chewed his lip, trying not to laugh again.
You: Sherlock seemed to roll his eyes at the words, giving a pointed look towards Molly as if to ask "Why are you dating him?" The woman seemed to be utterly confused. "Their /faces/! I had almost forgotten what they had looked like, and how our escape plan had backfired. My mum whipped me a new one after that-couldn't sit for a bloody week." John all but giggle, unable to suppress his laughter. He brought a hand to his face, covering it in hopes it would stifle the humour. It didn't. "Do you remember... Do you remember that time my grand da took us up to the cabins and told us a few tails and you... You," John had to stop, both hands covering his face. "Jesus Christ, I can't bloody finish my sentence..."
Stranger: Laughing with him, Jim held his side as he laughed, half shaking as he tried to suppress it. "Our escape plan failed because you had to lose your shoes and we had to go back and look for it," he blamed him, pointing a finger at the blond. "If you had worn tighter fitting shoes, we would have gotten away," he giggled, rolling his eyes. "My plans are absolutely flawless, not my fault that people muck them up," the brunet teased him, attempting to stop laughing. "The cabins....that was definitely a fun trip, even though you fell out of the tree on the third day," he chuckled, closing his eyes as he doubled over, laughter shaking his body. "And I did not push you, no matter what you say, all your fault," he managed to calm down, laughing again when he saw John's face.
You: "You /did/ push me! And then I had to tell my mum all about why I had a bruise. She was so bloody pissed, and there's my grand da, just... /Jesus/, it's been so bloody long since I've last thought of all this." John hissed, unable to speak coherently now with all the giggling and laughing. It wasn't well received, the detective standing and making an abrupt noise to silence the two. He regarded them both coolly, focusing on Jim with a frigid expression. "John, I've found out all I need to know. Let's go." He intoned dryly, finally sliding his cerulean gaze to the blond. The doctor had the gall to look disappointed, rather sad and piteous really. "Right... Of course, well, uhm... James, it was great to see you, yeah? We should catch up again over a pint, maybe even have dinner together."
Stranger: "I most definitely did /not,/" he grinned widely, pretending to be offended as he teased the blond. He stopped giggling when he heard the detective get up, turning to raise an eyebrow at him as he glared back at him, light in his eyes changing drastically. "It was very nice to see you again," he said, voice loosing it's excitement and returning to a slight monotone, "Yeah, a pint sounds good," he told the other man, forcing himself to smile slightly. Pulling out his phone, he handed it to John, looking up to smirk at the detective. "Put your number in, I'll text you," he smiled, focusing back on his friend. "I have to head back to work anyway, can't be off chatting with people the entire day,"
You: Accepting the phone, John took a few minutes to figure it all out before inputting his number in. If but in the place where his name ought to be instead. He sighed softly as he passed the phone over, reaching out to shake the man's hands before they all parted ways. "Take care, yeah? I look forward to that pint and text. God, it's been years, but I certainly missed you." He admitted, shoving his hands into his pockets. Sherlock took the time to interrupt once more, clearly displeased by Jim and his sudden presence. "Yes, chatter finished? Good. Come, John, we've things to do." He remarked curtly, already beginning his brisk stalk from the room. John gave a quick wave and apologetic smile before following. "See ya, James."
