Am I really the only one who feels disappointed with the current shipping trends?
It feels like people started building rigid rules for themselves — and then trying to force everyone else into those same boxes.
I’m not talking about ships involving minors or relatives. That’s something I consider deeply uncomfortable and morally wrong, and I don’t support it.
I’m talking about fanon ships between two adult characters.
We used to be able to take two completely unrelated characters — people who never even met in canon — and just… ship them. And it was fine. No one questioned it. (Elsa and Jack Frost, anyone?)
Now it feels like people find it weird if your favorite ship is between characters who simply don’t interact that often, even if they exist in the same space. ( KrDk, TogaChako, Bamon, Klefan, Midam, Johniarty etc.)
Somehow it became the norm that you need a reason to ship something. Like you have to prove its value and significance — as if that’s the only way it’s allowed to exist… Ugh.
Did we all just forget what fandom used to be like?
Lately, fandom spaces feel a lot more tense and toxic. Everyone is trying to prove that their ship is better than yours. And honestly? You rarely even see multishippers anymore, when before they were everywhere.
And don’t even get me started on old creepypasta fandom culture — people were just having fun and going wild with ideas, and that was the whole point.
Now I kind of understand those people who say “it used to be better before,” lol.
Moriarty,,,, I love you Moriarty,,,
I love Moriarty and all his ships,,,
WIP Word Game
Rules: You will be given a word. Share one sentence/excerpt from your wip(s) that start with each letter of that word.
Tagged again! It’s great tho because it makes me write so I have new things to share. So thanks for the tag @carolperkinsexgirlfriend!
And gasp! They’re not all Stranger Things! This time I actually wanted to remind myself of old WIPs that I HAD kind of forgotten about, both Steddie and otherwise, so here’s a few different things and some old favorites I need to get back into lol. As such, some of these lines might be reused from past tag games.
Anyways, my word is SCREAM

John/Moriarty Fans
Read a marvelous short Alpha/Omega Daddy kink John/Moriarty fic -- No Need to Hide by Johniarty -- and had the idea that John and Jim have six kids and name them:
Alexander, Cyrus, Catherine, Peter, Constantine, and Eleanor
The baby's name is slightly off-theme but only slightly and John insisted.
The kids call Moriarty first Papa and later Father. They call John first Mama and then Dad.
(None of the kids are permitted to call anyone Daddy because "that's a special grown-up name in our family.")
Настроения нет что-то рисовать, что-то придумывать, но чтобы сделать хоть что-нибудь... Johniarty хер ли :D
I really wanna get a companion to talk about Johniarty
None of the people around me understand my favor to JohniartyT_T...The two guys matched with each other SO Well!!! I've written a piece of work recently but I have noone to show it to(╥ω╥`)
