Anyone else get too tired and start thinking about a cracky soulmate AU wherein one could only speak in poetry until they meet their soulmate. So John and Sherlock’s first meeting would go like:

“Mike I need to see your phone; Mine’s got no service in this zone.”

“Sorry, but I lack it: it’s back in my jacket.”

“Here, take mine.” John says, then looks surprised.

Sherlock ignoring John in favor of examining his proffered phone. “Afghanistan or Iraq?"

There is a moment of expectant silence, then Sherlock says, “That didn’t rhyme.”

“No,” John agrees. “And neither does this.”

“But that would mean…” Sherlock trails off staring at John.

Then they kiss passionately.

Yea!
