hi! so i have a bunch of comics questions sorry to spring all of them on you at once. first off, barnes and noble is having a sale on DC comic books buy 2 get a 3rd free and it's online too. secondly, have you read the new 52 wonder woman? if so, is it good? same questions but for the new 52 supergirl and new 52 superman (this one is written by grant morrison who wrote all-star superman which i liked so hopefully it is). also, is there a certain comic you would recc to first time batfam readers?

And aaah I can’t tell you about New 52 wonder woman but I do know that they’ve committed crimes against Donna Troy so I would tread w/ caution. Uh maybe someone reading this can rec some good runs!! ((Personally I would check out Vol 3 idk)

It’s the same for new 52 Supergirl  (wow im trash sorry) and Superman like I haven’t gotten around to them (i’ve only read like 3 issues of new 52 superboy bye) but i have also not heard anyone complain about them, so i’d give them a shot.

ALSO BE WEARY OF GRANT MORRISON. His writing is literally hit or miss. I’ve heard wonders about his Batman & Robin dynamic but I will never forgive what he did to Jason Todd. He also did this little arc of Hellblazer that was the weirdest shit I’ve ever read would not recommend.

And aaaah well, friend the first batman comic i formally read was A Death In the Family. Start there if you want to suffer. Though you could also check out New 52 Batma, imo it’s a good starting point and i l o v e capullo’s art so much. Batman Eternal is p cool too.

While I would love that, I’m not sure how true that could be, considering he hasn’t played with the team since October when he was suspended (except for that one time the Kings fucked up by letting him practice)
