めでたく2020年度のSOTYを受賞したMason Silva。SOTY予想動画、おつまみチャンネルは↓スクロールでご視聴できます 笑 SOTYゲットの話は置いておいて。ここ数年、ストリートスタイルのコンテストシーンで、ワントリックを確実にメイクするルーティン（メイクしたらデッキをエスケープして違うセクションに向かうスタイル）が主流になりつつある。1999年だか2000年辺りのヨーロッパのコンテストでブライアン・アンダーソンがこのスタイルで優勝したのがアタマの中に残ってる（それ以前に他の人もやってたかも？なんですが。)まぁでも個人的にはこの動画のようにトリックを繋ぐスタイルの方が好きだな〜。エスケープスタイルも効率が良いのでコンテスト戦略的には⭕️なんだろうけど。記憶が曖昧だけど2000年中頃？のタンパのコンテストで、ジョン・ラットレーが通る所にあるセクション全てでトリックを入れる障害物競走的なランを披露していた。タイムアップ後も障害物競走は続き、最後はガクガクになって力尽きちゃったけど凄くカッコ良かった🛹当然オーディエンスも大盛り上がりで、結果がどうだったかは知らないけど強烈に印象的だった！ハイスキルを競うのも素晴らしいけど、そういう印象を残すのもプロの仕事だと思う。動画を紹介したかったけどみつかりませんでした、、。
