So where have I been and what have I been working on?
Like I mentioned a couple posts ago, I was in a year-long comics certificate program. My final project was to create a comic between 12-30 pages long and self-publish it. I decided to pick up and flesh out a project I had been outlining for a couple years titled Joint Spasm.
Joint Spasm chronicles my initial diagnosis with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis in March 2012. I finished the first 14 pages of this story for my graduation, but I’m fleshing out the remaining 6-8 or so in order to debut it at Olympia Zine Fest (I’ll be tabling!)
I wanted to share the front cover and the first three pages with you all. I’m going to be posting more about my upcoming shows and where to buy my comics soon. I can’t wait to share the entirety of it with you.
