Is there a fact/detail about your muse that you think would surprise people if you told them about it?

Maybe the fact that I have Bruce not be a 100% vegetarian in my portrayal? I mean, sharks are carnivorous by nature and they require such protein to live. And recently in Disney Magic Kingdoms app, Bruce admits to just eating marine mammals and sea birds, allowing him to still be ‘fish-free’ for well over a year. 

In my portrayal, I tend to have Bruce be less of an active-hunter and more of a scavenger since hunting has sort of fallen out of his favor. He can’t really bring himself to make the final kill, and it eats him up with guilt. So what better way to get meat by eating something that’s already dead? No hassle, no killing. Waste not, want not. Not to mention a massive dead whale carcass could fill him for a few good weeks.

both movies and should be appreciated as such without competition. I admit i watched the trailer for Coco and was like 'ok this si JUST like TBL??' but after watchuing it i was like, these are separated movies that go into different perspectives in the same thme(dia de los muertso) they are  and should not be ´put on top of each other, but side by side as master pieces

Exactly. I mean I did wonder when I saw the Coco poster but I was like but I’m going to watch and see, and it’s just so different. The only similarity is that they are set upon Día de Muertos and that they talk about the importance of being remembered, and saying that means it’s a copy is like saying any film set in México is a copy. I love that The Book of Live is more about mythology, deities and told in a ancient fairytale style (Where a great being tells a story from a time long ago and has a moral), whereas Coco is about the practical application of it, day-to-day, if that makes sense? Like the way we’re always told about the importance of remembering our family, about honouring them, about the marigold petals, and I mean Elena’s excitement when the sun begins to set is EXACTLY my Mum. Except she gets excited about a month in advance. So it’s very grounded in the current day-to-day. 

 The films are in the same world but totally different stories. And I love them both.

     Oh, how he misses it. How he wishes he could feel its welcoming embrace, even when the day felt as though the sun attempted to melt those below. Then, a sunny day was more enticing than a stormy one. Fresh air, a gentle breeze, and a clear sky.

     He inhales through his nose, water-filled lungs settled in his chest like heavy anchors where air would take up whatever space was left ( if any could be found ) . Pyke had forgotten what warmth felt like, after all this time. The waters of Bloodharbor were cool at most, but frigiz often. He’s sure they’d remain chilling on the surface if the warmth of blood didn’t linger or fill her veil on a consistent basis ( not that he helped much in that regard ) . She was unclean, and he’d partially been to blame.

     But even now, a corpse with flesh and bone intact, the warmth escaped him. He was cold, as cold as the depths. As cold as the darkness.

     As cold as death would allow.

     So when the sun beats down upon his skin, it forsakes him. It reflects off of him, just as the sea rejects its invasion of her deeper privacy. There is no warmth for him. Not anymore.
