i know i don't post much sandman here but god. as someone who was hyperfixed on the comics for a little while, the knight terrors event is just ever so slightly painful. the lore is getting. mangled. and the whole concept of the 'nightmare stone' is so fucking dumb. also jon dee thinks the dream stone was destroyed lmao, he watched dream destroy it before his very eyes, and he wouldn't know about morpheus dying and daniel having a new stone (though im not entirely certain whether he still has it, or if he's destroyed it to take full control of his powers as well).
