sometimes I get emotional thinking about how Dr. Maldinata told 049 stories when he was trapped in the Complex bc they were just trying to keep sane the only semblance of a family they had left and how Jon would tell him stories of all the places he’d been and fairy tales and legends from his childhood and how Aliyah clings to these memories once he’s been recaptured and they’re using experimental technology on him to wipe him of every memory he had of the outside world and he can’t forget the only things he has left of them.
