The Joy of Creation ⏪(series of 5 photos) ⏪ . Last week I saw a beautiful duo exhibition at the Voorlinden Museum near The Hague. Shio Kusaka's ceramic art is a wonderful match to the paintings of her partner in life, Jonas Wood. Her vases and pottery appear in his paintings, just like his organic patterns appear on the surfaces of her work. To me their work is a sheer celebration of life, beauty and colour in a similar way as Henri Matisse's art always manages to put a smile on my face. . I strongly recommend to visit this irresistable exhibition at the museum in Wassenaar, just outside of The Hague in the Netherlands. (Until January 7, 2018). .
