Eventually, with enough time, some of Sole's synth and robot friends bite the big one and die. But instead of an eternal void, they discover that, even though they may have been manufactured, they still had some form of soul. And then they find themselves in the afterlife, whatever it may be: How would Cods, Nick, Dance, X6, and Ada react to being able to be there with everyone else? And then Father and Elder Maxon learn you can get your ass beat even when you're dead?
Omg i love this prompt
Codsworth: If he could cry he would be crying tears of joy, he can see mum/sir again he is overjoyed.
Nick: He’s shocked and terrified, and he meets the real Nick Valentine, but strangely enough, Real Nick likes him, and of course Nick is happy to see his friends and Real Nick treats him like he’s family.
Danse: Honestly he didn’t think he would see his friends again they’re so… good, and he’s not… How can he, a man who killed his own kind in cold blood, be in the same place as Preston Garvey or Nick Valentine or- or Sole. He’s comforted by the others, because he really can’t believe it.
X6-88: If he’s here in the afterlife then clearly the institute was wrong. Synths are people too. He proceeds to have an existential crisis.
Ada: Oh, she understands that many robots and all gen-3 synths have their own soul in a sense. She would not count herself among them. Really that revelation takes a while to overcome, but she is content to be with her friends.
Father: He’s never been in so much pain, if going to the bad place and being tortured for all eternity wasn’t enough now he and this twerp are being chased by an angry mob of his parent’s friends.
Arthur Maxson: Danse should not be in the afterlife but he is. He went to hell, he didn’t anticipate that, not only that but his parents are looking at him like he’s crazy, Sarah Lyons hates him, and Owyn Lyons won’t look him in the eye, really that’s the fucking torture, that and the heartbroken look Danse and his mother give him when they think he isn’t looking. God he doesn’t remember why he hated Danse, yeah it’s not fun getting your bones broken by Cait with a baseball bat. But it doesn’t compare to the people you care about- the people you love hating you.
