But the franchise has been going strong again on the small screen front since 2017 for those with a Paramount+ subscription, with Strange New Worlds Season 3 currently airing on the 2025 TV schedule and Starfleet Academy dropping sometime next year. Now it turns out that Scott Bakula, who starred as Jonathan Archer in Enterprise, is helping put together a follow-up series for his character that sounds intriguing..."

general opinion: fall in a hole and die | don’t like them | eh | they’re fine I guess | like them! | love them | actual love of my life hotness level: get away from me | meh | neutral | theoretically hot but not my type | pretty hot | gorgeous! | 10/10 would banghogwarts house: gryffindor | slytherin | ravenclaw | hufflepuffbest quality: oh man i love sisko so much holy shit. ok the best thing about sisko is probably his relationship with jake. but the next best thing about him is that he’s willing to do what it takes to Get Shit Done. sisko holds onto his morals but he also gets put in situations where so-called federation ideals are just naive, elitist nonsense. but instead of breaking or becoming corrupt, sisko adapts and trusts himself and his own beliefs and gets through hell without becoming a worse personworst quality: aaaaaa this is hard. i think sometime the writers had him take it a bit too far in the maquis arc ship them with: sisko and kasidy yates were wholesome as fuck and i wouldn’t dream of getting in the way of that brotp them with: daxneeds to stay away from: the prophets. seriously. let him go back to just being a dad already misc. thoughts: i put him in slytherin bc i think being a gryffindor when you’re a starfleet captain isn’t necessarily a good thing. starfleet and roddenberry ideals are deeply flawed and sisko was willing to recognise that. idk if choosing slytherin is necessarily correct and i don’t mean it with any of the negative connotations, but in the sense that he would defy the status quo and make his own mind up about what to do, which is definitely a strength. also gotta give a shoutout to avery brooks and everything he achieved with sisko... my favourite star trek captain

13. What you’re hoping the mirrorverse will be likeoh man idk??? i know some ppl really enjoy the mirrorverse eps but im not really one of them. like i enjoy them but im not hyped abt them. anyway give me glittery crop top outfits for everyone and im happy

14. Favorite ship(s)stamets/culber is my fav for sure. im also digging michael/tilly and michael/ash somewhat. almost everyone/some happiness and peace and quiet is another one im really digging and would love for it to be canon

How do you feel about the Klingons/the Klingon war plot? not digging it. like im getting tired of only portraying klingons as some sort of warrior species. i really enjoyed that ep in ent where we got the klingon lawyer and i’d love for more plots exploring more of klingon culture than just their warrior. also this new design + only portraying them as some sort of warmongers only worsens the racism in the character design etc lmao

also their notion of how klingons value honour (and what is honourable etc) sometimes goes again what i’ve understood it to be from previous series. not that star trek is good at continuity lol

abt the war plot itself what i have to say is that it’s not my kind of plot?? i really enjoyed the war plot in ds9 ‘cause there was a lot of focus on diplomacy/politics/morals/etc and not just the warfare itself. like dsc’s got some of that but yeah
