Captain Jonathan Archer

This is my last of my Star Trek captains pictures, and this last one goes to Star Trek: Enterprise's Captain Jonathan Archer. Despite the negativity at the time, where eventually it was cancelled after its fourth season, I quite liked Enterprise and its crew. Captain Jonathan Archer was the first captain of the first version of the Starship Enterprise. He and his crew expanded Earth's horizons to many different galactic civilisations, making friends and enemies along the way. The character was played by Scott Bakula, known for shows like Quantum Leap, as well as being in a few films, one being American Beauty.

Season 3 - While en-route to Azati Prime, Enterprise makes a stop at a planet where ananas comosus is the primary lifeform. Malcolm is ecstatic at the prospect of the chef being able to stock up on his favorite food, but unfortunately, the concentration of pineapples on the planet is so high, his allergen medication just can’t suffice. Enterprise has to leave the planet without stocking up on any extra pineapples. Reed is sad.

The episode was cancelled because of all the different facets of the main characters, Reed’s pineapple allergy was one that just nobody had any real interest in exploring further.
