For Halloween, I'm finally getting to dress up in a scarecrow costume, much akin to something I'd wear in any of my sources. The only real issue with the costume I currently have is the mask, as its design feels a bit... try-hard. Many of the scarecrow masks I've seen online are, actually. Unfortunately, I don't have enough days to make a better mask for myself, but the current mask will do its job fine I suppose.

I absolutely feel like I will never find a canonmate from my scarecrow canon. But it doesnt upset me anymore. Yes, I miss Edward, I miss Bruce, but I've moved on and I'm almost certain that no Bruce will remember marrying me, or anything he did to save me. And that's okay. - J Crane

in my source i was ugly and unliked and a mean person. i don't really engage in That Side of fandom but there have been a small handful of times where i've posted art of myself and had people act like they were attracted to me and it's so weird? i just want to shout "i am not a likeable person! if you saw me irl you would avoid me and/or mock me! if you tried to flirt with me i would not believe you and i would torture you and you would hate it and die! what in the devil possessed you to say this?" i really don't get the trend of "babygirlifying" evil old men.

Oh man. I got a new memory recently, and I sure wish I hadn't. It was from a few months after Ed died.
