Summary:Steve tells you that Nancy is cheating on him with Jonathon your crush.
Nancy your best friend went to go help Jonathon. They have been hanging out a lot lately and you demanded her to introduce you to him. You were bored and wondering if Nancy was already home. You told her to call you when she got there but hasn't called you. Of course you were the mom friend so you decided to go to her house to check up on her.
While you were putting on your shoes you heard the phone ring. You picked it up expecting it was Nancy but was surprised to hear who was on the other end of the phone.
"Hello. Steve? What's wrong?" you asked.
"[Y/N] its about Nancy" Steve said sounding angry and worried.
"What happened is she ok?" You asked more worried than ever.
"No she is fine so fine that she is cheating in me!" Steve yelled.
"What cheating on you? With you do you think she is cheating on you with." You asked surprise.
"With Jonathon" Steve said.
As soon as heard that you froze. You've had a big crush on Jonathon and Nancy knows about she wouldn't do that to you would she? "Steve I got to go"You said and hung up.
You fell asleep wondering why Steve thinks Nance is cheating on him.
The next day you saw Nancy you weren’t sure how to ask if she is cheating on her boyfriend with your crush. You were gonna ask her why would she do it and... your thoughts were interrupted by Steve.
“Look [Y/N]” Steve said looking at Nancy and Jonathon who were laughing. “Its sad isn’t it your crush and your best friend together.” Steve said.
“How do you know?”you asked.
“it’s obvious [Y/N]” Steve replied “and if he hasn’t notice it’s obviously because he doesn’t like you” Steve was right you thought and you felt betrayed, and heartbroken.
You walked up to Nancy “How could you?” You questioned angrily. “[Y/N], what do you mean.” Nancy said looking confused. “You know what i mean. That you cheated on Steve with Jonathon you betrayed him but also betrayed me! Who knows what you were doing last night. Then today you both act like a couple just date already! Who cares about Steve or my feelings!” You yelled at Nancy and left running.
“What was that about?” Jonathon asked. “She always hated Steve why now does she defend him.”
“Steve is just a cover but she has a crush on you its quiet obvious if you notice everytime she is around you she stares at you and always talks to you.She thinks that I cheated on Steve. I better go talk to Steve” Nancy said.
“Jonathon do me a favor and talk to [Y/N].” Nancy begged.
“Don’t worry I’ll talk to her” Jonathon said.
You were sitting on the bleachers alone regretting everything you told Nancy. “[Y/N], its not what you think” Jonathon said.
“I don’t like Nancy like that. She allowed me to sleep over at her house because of what happened last night. You should ask Nancy what happen.”
“Jonathon,” you started “I feel bad, I yelled at Nancy for something I knew she didn’t do but thought she did. Steve really got to me.” You said.
“You should go apologize” Jonathon said.
“Your right i should” You said getting up about to leave.
“Also [Y/N] I would have made you mine sooner if I knew. Also if all this stuff with Will missing wasn’t going on.” Jonathon said.
“Aww Jonathon I understand if you don’t want to right now but promose me when your ready you’ll make me yours.”
You said “I will promise” Jonathon said as he leaned in to kiss you.
