Oh how beautifully breathtaking the scene of the inky canopy above was, the stars shining brightly and pecking the night sky, the full and round satellite just offering it that extra touch of beauty. To her, it was almost as if this was the only thing left upon this slowly destructing planet which in her eyes was spectacular and utmost gorgeous.  The stars, when she glanced up and observed them calmly from below, all that came into her mind were a set of eyes as they glittered in the dark atmosphere. She noticed how vividly those seemingly small starts stood out, if one didn't possibly look twice it would have appeared ordinary. But to her, it's different. The stars strongly reminded her of her parents, her family. And she is aware exactly of the reason why.  The way they twinkle -- it's similar to the way theirs would twinkle whenever she gazed right into them. This saddens her. It saddens her because she misses them more than anything. But on the other side, it gives her a strange feeling of comfort. It's like they're looking down at her from above, keeping their eyes on her as if they were some sort of guardian angels.  Never did the thought of her sense of quietude being destructed cross her mind. But the most unexpected things happen so suddenly, she almost finds it amazing how quick they occur too. She found herself violently being dragged away, by what appeared to be a disgustingly intoxicated man. No matter how hard she tried to escape, the man was larger than her own, small and fragile being and his strength easily overpowered hers.  Soon after, she found herself in an averted alley, a shady one as well. The dammed male had already pressed her up against the wall and his intentions were very visibly not the slightest bit good. Jessica found no other option but to start screaming her lungs out despite being forcefully hushed by the man's palm over her lips. Though the screams were muffled, she could only hope that her dolphin scream was made audible enough to be heard by somebody, anybody.  Sounds of her own clothing material tearing were audible and it startled her, she knew what was coming her way. Her clothes were almost completely torn apart, revealing bits and pieces of her body parts. Behind the man, she managed to make out a rather blurry figure in the distance, the figure was nearing as well, she only hoped that it was somebody willing to rescue her.  Her eyes, they were boring the tears of mental trauma, she wasn't this scared in her whole life before and the man had inflicted a minimum amount of damage with his abusiveness. This had an impact on her mentally, her step-father was no different.

She hated any kind of nerves wracking situations even though it was more than obviously Qri worked the best under extreamly pressure. The petite strawberry blonde haired woman couldn't deal with more than one emotion at time and lord knew how the hit and run with those...Things moments early that forced her to leave her hidding place was enough of a adrenalin rush for the rest of the month! There were reasons about why she would spend most of her time behind a laboratory's counter than in a gymnasium and being horrible at sports wasn't one of them...Or at least it wasn't the biggest motive.

Yet, Qri was smart enough to keep herself alive until now even with a friend having her back which was more than a bless comming across what the city had become. Running one of her hands through her long strawberry blonde hair, the geneticist picked a few supplies from the shelves of another abandoned grocery store: They would need all the food, water and medical supplies she could find since probably most of what was left in the appartment couldn't be reused even if they came back to search for something.

The sound of a can falling on the floor was heard and Qri throwed the one she had in hands in that direction. One of those things would had made much more noise, but one would never know not should trust their senses. "Tell me one reason to not throw this in your head." She muttered. Wow, a package of frozen peas everyone should be terrified.
