i just watched the premiere episode of gastronauts on dropout and it is as delightfully fun as the people are saying. i can't wait for another episode!!

in the meantime i will have to tide myself over with rewatching (again) my other favorite internet cooking show, Phoning It In by the Try Guys. if y'all will let me pitch this show to you for a minute: the concept is two professional chefs are competing against each other, but they can't actually do anything themselves, they have to give all their directions to a person with no/little cooking experience over the phone. its a fun concept in of itself but it is also made great by the chefs and contestants they bring on, they are all so fun to watch (I really hope to see Monique Chan and/or Jennifer Ye on gastronauts, they would kill it).

one of my favorite episode is this one with Shane Madej (from Watcher/formerly Buzzfeed Unsolved) as a contestant (also Steven Lim from Watcher/formerly Buzzfeed's Worth It as a judge), in which the two chefs realize halfway through the video that they chose to make the exact same recipe

another one i really love it this one with Josh Scherer (from Mythical Kitchen) as one of the chefs (and Nicole Enayati also from Mythical Kitchen as a judge), because the interactions between Josh and JonnyCakes (one of the Try Guys) are hilarious.
