The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse (2023), based on Aesop’s fable
A town mouse visits a country mouse and is underwhelmed by the humble food offerings of wheat and barley available in the country. They invite the country mouse to eat in town where the food is luxurious, but guarded by humans and dogs. In the end, the country mouse decides they prefer their basic but safe life in the country.
Save the Nutcracker (2023), based on E.T.A. Hoffman's classic story, "The Nutcracker and the Mouseking"
At this moment two of the enemies' tirailleurs seized him by his wooden mantle, and the Mouse-King, squeaking from his seven throats, leaped in triumph towards him. Maria could no longer control herself. "Oh, my poor Nutcracker!" she cried, sobbing, and without being exactly conscious of what she did, grasped her left shoe, and threw it with all her strength into the thickest of the mice, straight at their king.
I loved you from the start <3
Crafting Connection (2026) shows yarn dolls in an embrace to represent parental love and mentorship. The two figures are made up of multicolour yarn strands, their dominate colours bleeding into each other’s palettes to represent the influence their bond has had on their lives and characters.
The figures are also attached to numerous colourful strands of yarn that connect outwards. These strands represent connection to community and culture; the environment and experiences that have influenced the pair’s dynamic. They each hold pieces of people who have crossed their lives weaved into themselves, and it has made them who they are.
The piece uses yarn as a metaphor to invoke how the preservation of culture relies on craft being passed down through the generations. Artistic creation is one way individuals reveal how they’ve been influenced by all those who came before.

"Why does it always have to be you?"
Vira and Balor keep crossing paths in their lifetimes as if by some sort of gravitational pull.
Acquaintances, allies, friends, enemies, rivals, lovers, strangers... they've been it all and can't remember any of it.
One thing's consistent; when they linger too long in each other's orbit it has never ended well.
We'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Make no mistake, he will find his farmer.
Now are you going to be a help or a hindrance?
