Nothing Is Lost...
Nothing is lost. All is gain. That goes beyond encouragement to me. It means what is created lives on.
This morning my Mother was flabbergasted when someone sent her a link to a song she and my Father recorded in 1972. A little plastic forty-five was found and downloaded onto a music fan website. A French librarian who enjoyed the song tracked Mom down and sent it to her.
I told Heidi the story and she pointed out that the same thing has happened with this film. People and connections that are totally disparate are magnetized and pulled together by this project.
We all have those moments when the calm doesn't seem serene. Life seems to lull. "Why am I still doing this?" In those moments whether you call it karma or manna from heaven, what we've done returns to us and makes it all make a little more sense.
I've copied the link to this echo from forty-two years ago "Stars and Trees" if you would like to hear my parents at seventeen years old in their first recording session. http://www.dorkervibes.blogspot.fr/?view=flipcard#!http://dorkervibes.blogspot.com/2013/08/soul-purpose-stars-and-trees-purpose.html
