“Put him here,” his mother directed as they were directed into the cargo hold of the passenger ship that managed to escape the devastation on Aerilon. Clark settled his unconscious friend and Martha draped her blazer over Lex to keep him warm in the cold space. 

Jonathan came over and hovered, a frown on his face, “He’s going to have questions,” his father flatly stated.

“I don’t want to lie to him,” Clark replied.

“We have to allay his suspicions about you,” Jonathan firmly said back, blue eyes shifting to his son in concern. “After this… no one must know.”

Lois after frustration and is in full on villian mode. Because Jonathan drove her to insanity.

Lois: See here now is that I- I FUCKING DARE JONATHAN TO KISS LIONEL!

Clark: LOIS!

Lois: Remember if you say say no. Martha takes your fucking place

Lionel: You are very determined aren't you. *smirks*

Lois: You're a coward, Jonathan is a tease. AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH MARTHA!

Evil!Lois arch begins. Let the chaos begin!

You see what you cause Jonathan. YOU SEE WHAT YOU FUCKING DID!

Jonathan Kent glared at Lois, “I think you have had one too many now, Lois.”

“I’ve only just got started, sweetie,” the reporter shot back and then stared pointedly toward the billionaire on the sofa. “You know Lionel’s hoping you refuse.”

“No, actually I’m not…” Lionel started to protest.

“Shush, you’ve been wanting to kiss Missus K all night,” she interrupted him and he quickly fell silent at the look she gave him. Lionel turned to Martha for help but she merely shrugged helplessly.

The senator pursed his lips before heaving a resigned sigh, “Fine.” He gets up from the rocker and goes over to the man who was the bane of his existence most days. “Let’s make this quick, Lionel.

Lionel merely grinned, “Wouldn’t be my first quickie.”

Jonathan groaned, “We’re not going that far, damnit!”

“At the rate Lois is going in trying to hook us up, I wouldn’t be surprised if this starts to get X-rated soon,” the man commented before scooting over to give the senator some room to sit.

Jonathan reluctantly sat with a scowl, “I’ll quit the game before it does.”

“I dunno. Martha would have to… Mmf!” He was silenced with a hand grabbing his tie and pulling him forward and a harsh kiss upon his mouth. Not one to make things easy for anyone, Lionel captured the senator by the back of his neck and held him in place as he recovered from the surprise.

Soon enough, Jonathan found himself being kissed back with a passion he hadn’t expected from the billionaire. In the back of his mind, while he found himself returning Lionel’s passion, an insidious thought was birthed.

Jonathan realized that Lionel actually was a damn good kisser and he almost didn’t want to stop. But pride got the better of him and he forced himself to pull away from the man before it became a full blown makeout session.

Lionel was quiet as was the senator. They stared at each other for a moment, unsure of what to make of things. It was Jonathan who stood up and straightened his shirt collar and ran a hand through his hair.

He glared at Lois, “Satisfied?

“Am I ever, holy shit…”

Lois: Martha truth or dare.

Martha: Dare

Lois: I dare yout to kiss Lionel

Lionel: I take the punishment for refusing is that Jonathan has to kiss me?

Lois: Would you really THAT upset about it?

Lionel: *smirks*

Jonathan:

Jonathan glared at Lois and was about to say something when Martha stood up and started to head over to where Lionel was sitting. The businessman wore a curious look and he can see the hopeful smile creeping just slightly under his beard.

“We need a new rule,” Jonathan said as he carefully watched the two. “No more kissing dares.”

“Can’t change the rules now, Senator Kent,” Lois argued while watching the two. Her mouth fell open slightly as Martha sat down in Lionel’s lap and she heard a displeased growl from over by Jonathan.

Or was it Clark? He had been awfully quiet tonight. She stole a glance in his direction and saw he also wasn’t too pleased with the dare. Making Lionel kiss Jonathan had been funny to him, but making his mother kiss Lionel?

“Martha?” Lionel whispered uncertainly. He had expected her to refuse and Lois making Jonathan kiss him. Instead here she was in his lap and he was trying not to squirm or react out of desire. He could already feel his trousers getting tighter.

“Sshh,” she tells him and cups him by the face before leaning down and kissing him chastely on the lips. His eyes widened briefly before closing half way as he returned the kiss. His hunger for her was more than he could control and what had meant to be a teasing game for Jonathan quickly led to something more passionate.

The cat call from Lois and the embarrassed giggles from her cousin went unnoticed by the two as Martha returned Lionel’s passion with her own. Her fingers crawled into his thick mane, nails lightly scraping against his scalp while his arms wrapped around her in an intimate embrace.

If they didn’t stop soon, Lionel was certain he was going to take things further with her. Jonathan and Clark be damned.

“Martha?!” the hurt and anger in Jonathan’s voice brought them both back to reality and cooled the ardor in both of them. Lionel shifted uncomfortably beneath Martha and she raised an eyebrow at what she felt. His face turned a soft shade of red at being caught in such a state with her.

It wasn’t as if he could help it! She had chosen to sit in his lap and kiss him like there was no tomorrow! “I, um, that was nice.”

Martha leaned forward and whispered in his ear, “Come upstairs in five minutes,” she tells him and he gives her an intrigued look and then suddenly makes a strangled, quiet noise when he felt her hand brush against him.

She gives him a coy look before standing up and straightening her clothing. Martha meets her husband’s gaze, the same coy smile on her face, “I think we’ve had enough Truth and Dare. Why don’t you kids go out and celebrate the countdown. Jonathan.”

Clark blinks and stares after his mother as she takes her husband’s hand and leads him away from the group. He looks to Lois and Chloe and then glares at a flustered Lionel, “You did that deliberately.”

He cleared his throat and held his hands in his lap in the hopes to hide what Martha conjured, “I am not the one who initiated it, Clark.”

“Well Missus K certainly seemed to enjoy it. I know I did!” Lois exclaimed as she stood up and grabbed her drink. “Come on, Smallville, let’s go to the barn and watch the fireworks. You too cuz!” She gives Lionel a wink and he has to wonder if this had been planned.

He watched the three leave before glancing up the stairwell, wondering if the invitation is what he thought it was.

Quietly he stood and grabbed his wine glass and decided to drain it completely in one go. Thoughts of the kiss were still fresh in his mind and he could feel a terrible ache to slake the feelings she had caused in him with just that kiss alone. She knew he was hard, why else would she have touched him and invite him upstairs?

With a deep breath, he set the empty glass down and headed up. He loosened his shirt collar on the way up and he listened for sounds of the married couple. There were giggles that were no doubt from Martha and a thump as something heavy hit something else, of which he could only imagine Jonathan being clumsy from the alcohol.

He stopped outside the room and noted the door was slightly ajar. Did he dare accept her invitation? Should he? Was this a ploy of Miss Lane’s to get them together? But why bring Jonathan?

“Are you going to stand out there all night, Lionel, or are you going to join us?” he heard Martha say suddenly and his cheeks reddened.

”Something is bothering you,” he states after listening to Martha become further discombobulated. It was unlike her to be disorganized and rattled in her day to day work.

He heard her pause, “What makes you say that?”

”I can hear the frustration in your voice, Martha. Talk to me, perhaps I can help?”

Her sigh is followed by the files being set down on his desk before him and then a creak of the chair as she sat. “I’m considering divorcing Jonathan.”

He blinked, stunned by the revelation. That hadn’t been what he expected. “Why would you?”

”Because of you.”

The heart monitor beeping was annoying. His chest hurt. His diaphragm felt like not working. But at least he was alive.

“I see you’re finally awake,” a man’s voice spoke beside him. He opened his eyes to darkness and he had to force himself to remember.

“Mister Kent,” he finally recalled. Why was he here? Where was Martha? Where was that bastard son of his? Where was his son?

“We need to talk.”

His diaphragm hitched painfully. He knew this day would come, he just wished it hadn’t been while he was hospitalized.

“About?”

“My wife,” Jonathan deadpanned darkly.
