Well, I start with compiling the top image and background panels. I have all the colored scans downloaded on my phone and I flip through those to find the panels. This usually takes an hour or so (oftentimes more). Then I open my editing app and render the top image. This can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes. After that I pick a color to go under it, and touch up anything I might have missed. Then I start to compile the background, I do it panel by panel, then make the lines to separate the background panels. After that I touch it up and make sure nothing overlaps. This takes around 30-50 minutes. Then I make the pastel layer from earlier semi-transparent. Lastly, I make the top image visible and violà, a wallpaper is made. (Also I’m not sure what the app I use is called but just know I do legit everything on my phone). Hope this answers your question, but make sure to experiment and find your own style when editing! Mine is very rigid and specific to what I want but that’s because I prefer that style. Everyone has different preferences so it’d do you good to figure out what you like, so you don’t end up with work you don’t enjoy.
