Atlas of the Copenhagens // Joost Grootens
Atlas of the Copenhagens, Architectural Research, Ruby Press, 2018, Atlas
Within Grootens’ Atlas there are over 400 maps, information graphics, and illustrations that explore the contemporary, urban territories of Copenhagen. Often known as the world’s most sustainable and lovable city. This atlas offers a visually appealing design, yet with an informative understanding of the city itself.
I really like this atlas because it shows that information can be portrayed in many different ways and colours. I really like the variety on each page and how Grootens’ ‘less is more’ approach works effectively with the information provided.
