Simpsons Reviews: An Introduction

Hey guys, here's the plan, it's real simple. I'm going to review every episode of the Simpsons. Starting today. There's over five hundred episodes, and it's still going strong, so it's going to be a long, time consuming challenge! But that's half the fun. First of course, there needs to be a couple of rules, so read on.

First things first. There'll be a review once every day (except Sunday) at 8pm US Eastern Time. That's 5pm in the US West. Or 1am in London, England (not London, Canada). Down under in Sydney it's midday, and in my home country of New Zealand, it's 2pm. Heck, convert your time here. That's six episodes a week. I think that's good.

Along with that, I'll be aiming to post regular blogs throughout the day with non-Simpsons related content. At midday and 4pm I'll post things like pictures, videos, music, or discussion pieces on TV, film and video games. In the evenings there'll be random stuff and reblogs.

Now for the reviews themselves, hopefully they won't be too long, without being devoid of content. Depending on my source for the video, I'll make an animated GIF of the episode, because everybody loves a cute GIF (wait for the Treehouse of Horror!). There'll be the review itself, followed by a grade (from A+ to C-, then D, and finally F). I'll also include the original airdate, writer and director, because that's just polite. Here's an example.

Simpsons Reviews

So the primary reason that I made this Tumblr was to do a daily review of The Simpsons- for every episode! A daunting task. I'm going to spend this upcoming week preparing, writing a little in advance, and we'll get started in about a week... let's say...
