A Clinton Compendium - or - How To Irritate Liberals
With the possibility of serial liar Hillary Clinton’s running for president in 2016, I thought it would be useful to compile facts relating to her and her husband, former President and disbarred lawyer Bill Clinton. Think of them as “liberal talking points,” and absolutely a continuing work in progress.
Hillary Rodham Clinton
Hillary has a long history of lying.
“Meeting with dozens of Democratic allies and experts in secret sessions–in clear violation of federal sunshine laws, as a subsequent court ruling later made plain–Hillary, with the help of Ira Magaziner, finally unveiled a health care plan so massive in scope that even other advisors were aghast. It was a political blunder of enormous magnitude…The plan dictated, among other things, the specialties medical students should pursue, where doctors could practice, and which physicians individual Americans would be allowed to see. More stunning, the proposal threatened to punish by fines and jail doctors who accepted cash for provding a service and patients who paid cash for health care! In addition, “employer mandates” for even the smallest of businesses to insure employees would have been the death knell of millions of small businesses. When word of ‘Hillarycare’ started to leak out, it produced a firestorm of opposition.” <1>
“…’Travelgate,’ in which Hillary dismissed the employees of the White House travel office (a nonpartisan group) in order to replace them with a travel firm of her friends…Harry and Susan Thomason. Still, there had been no illegality. What turned a presidential preference into an ethical and legal violation was that Mrs. Clinton, to provide a public relations cover for firing so many loyal employees in such a callous fashion, ordered an FBI investigation of Billy Dale, head of the travel office. A midlevel civil servant who had done nothing but hold a job that Hillary had coveted for her friends, suddenly found himself having to secure lawyers to defend against charges of corruption. Dale was acquitted of all charges, but he was nearly bankrupted.” <4>
William Jefferson ”Bill“ Clinton
Clinton’s Justice Department appointed a Special Prosecutor to look into the Whitewater savings and loan investment which had involved Mr. & Mrs. Clinton. <2>
Clinton’s cabinet appointees spawned more than a dozen special prosecutors. “Clinton had invoked quotas on nearly every cabinet position, regardless of competence. Above all, party loyalists and fundraisers were to be rewarded. Ron Brown…was placed in the powerful cabinet post of secretary of commerce. This later facilitated the sales of high-tech weaponry to the communist Chinese government.” <2>
Cabinet officials involved in corruption or “outright criminal behavior.” Henry Cisneros (HUD) – sexual harrassment suit; Webster Hubbell (AAG) – indicted in Whitewater investigation; Mike Espy (S. Agriculture) investigated; Bruce Babbitt (S. Interior) – illegal dealings with Indian tribes. <3>
“FBI background checks on White House personnel were also curtailed, apparently for what they might reveal about the appointees. All this reinforced the suspicion that a number of individuals of questionable character worked in the administration, but it also proved dangerous, facilitating the attendance at White House functions of criminals such as drug-runner Jorge Cabrera. Among the other guests at Clinton functions was Wang Jun, an arms dealer who supplied Los Angeles street gangs with automatic weapons; international fugitive Marc Rich; and a steady stream of foreigners whose visits were arranged by John Huang, an indicted Arkansas restaurateur. According to the foreign visitors, they were explicitly told that they could influence the government of the United States by Huang.” <3>
Clinton Administration did not enforce existing gun laws – ergo, gun violence increased, giving Democrats an excuse to call for tougher gun controls – a closed loop. <5>
Sexual Scandals
Paula Jones: ”In 1994, Jones filed a civil lawsuit against President Bill Clinton for sexual harrassment during a political event…while Clinton was governor of Arkansas. While working at a meeting…in 1991, Clinton sent troopers to ask her to come up to a hotel room to meet the governor, and Jones claimed that once she had entered the room, and realized that only she and Clinton were there, Governor Clinton had exposed himself and asked her to perform oral sex on him….The lawsuit proved historic because in 1997 the U.S. Supreme Court ruled against Clinton’s legal claim that a citizen could not sue a president.” <6>
During Discovery in the Jones case, Clinton was asked, under oath, “to identify all the women with whom he had had sexual relations since 1986….Clinton answered, under oath, ‘none.” Already Jennifer Flowers and …Sally Purdue had claimed to have had an affair with Clinton…but the Jones team found several others. One of them was Juanita Broaddrick, who contended…Clinton had raped her… One relationship was still going on at the time of Jone’s suit–regular sexual liasons at the White House between Clinton and a young intern, Monica Lewinsky.” <6>
“In his deposition for the Jones lawsuit, Clinton denied having “sexual relations” with Lewinsky. Based on the evidence provided by Tripp, a blue dress with Clinton’s semen, Starr concluded that this sworn testimony was false and perjurious.” (Wikipedia)
“Drudges’ revelations showed that the president was on record as having lied in front of a federal grand jury–a felony, and certainly grounds for removal.” <8>
“Clinton’s team revived the successful ‘nuts and sluts’ strategy that had worked so well in the early 1990s with Gennifer Flowers, painting Lewinsky, Jones, and Perdue as crazy or promiscuous…when another woman, a supporter of the president’s named Kathleen Willey, appeared on a national television news show to claim that Clinton had harrassed her too, pinning her against a wall while he groped her in the White House.” <7>
“Not included in the public Starr Report that had hit newsstands shortly after it was delivered to Congress was confidential materials relating to the rape allegations by Juanita Brodderick,. When combined with Kathleen Willey’s testimony about Clinton’s thuggish behavior toward her, it painted a portrait of a multiple offender and, possibly, a rapist. One House member said that what he had read nauseated him.” <8>
“But Schippers was stunned to hear one senator state flatly that most of them had no intention of even looking at the evidence, and that even if there was a dead body in the White House, ‘You wouldn’t get 67 votes to convict.’” <9>
Terrorism
“The entire Clinton approach to bin Laden (and all terrorists) was to treat terrorism as a law enforcement problem and not a national security/military issue. This policy had far reaching (and negative) effects because when a terrorist like Ramzi Yousef is indicted, all evidence is sealed and cannot be used by the FBI or CIA to thwart other attacks.” <10>
Only after 9/11 dis evidence surface that Clinton had turned down not one but three offers from foreign governments to seize bin Laden… <10>

Angelica Maribel Murillo, 37, poses for a photograph at her home in the La Nueva Australia neighbourhood in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on August 21, 2013. Angelica's husband attacked her in 2008, accusing her of having an affair, and cut off her two hands with a machete while trying to kill her. He is on the run since then, while she raises their four children by making and selling tortillas. Some 225 women have been killed during the first six months of 2013, according to local media.
