Chapter 1- Getting Ready For The Interview
“Ansley are you up? You have your interview in less than an hour,’ Niki called out to me from the kitchen, she was making us breakfast because I’m not domesticated at all.
“Yeah I don't want to get up. Can you just go for me?” I jokingly asked while I put my pillow on my face. It was way too early for this interview.
“Come on Ains, don't you wanna meet Landon James? He’s literally the hottest person ever,” Niki was absolutely right he honestly is so hot. I can’t even wait to meet him even if he a complete jerk his hotness makes up for it.
“Your right but I’m never gonna get this job. I'll never get a job and we are gonna have to move back to California. I can't go back i don't ever want to see Bentley again. He broke my heart way too many times. I cant put myself through that again.” Niki just stood there looking at me with a fallen mouth, and started laughing, “What’s so funny Nik? Care to share?”
“The fact that your still thinking about Bentley is so funny. You guys haven't talked since we moved here and that's been at least 4 months. Stop thinking and talking about him. You need to meet someone new and forget about him.” She was only speaking the truth but as much as I didn't want to think about Bentley I just couldn't face the fact of finally getting him out of my life.
“Whatever hm maybe Landon will have a hot friend,” I gave Niki a wink and walked back to our room, we share a one bedroom apartment.
I quickly went over to our vanity and shaped my eyebrows, put on face powder, and lastly curled my eyelashes and put on mascara. Then I went into the bottom drawer where our hair products were and I got out our hair straightener and made loose waves. Loose waves are my favorite especially because I hate my straight hair. I guess it is true that you hate what you have and want what you don't have. I’m always so jealous of Niki because she has the perfect curly blonde hair that I would kill for.
“Ain’s you still have to eat, you better hurry up,” every time Niki shouts at me I jump, she has a very powerful voice even when she doesn't mean to.
“I’m coming I’m coming” I walked into the kitchen as I was putting in my earrings and putting on my necklace.
“Oh dang you look so hot don't look too good for Landon” I definitely want to look good for Landon. If my resume doesn't look good at least I will.
“Well hey I gotta look good for my new man's” I jokingly said making Niki laugh.
I sat down with the plate of pancakes Niki had made for me and slid through my makeup instagram (jor.mua). I posted a picture of today's makeup look and then switched to my rinsta. My rinsta is full of pictures of celebs… like Landon. Landon had posted a picture of him on the beach surfing. He’s such a beautiful person. I quickly scrolled through his instagram to find that he deleted all of his pictures of him and his girlfriend. I guess they broke up?
I finished my pancakes and went to the car with 10 minutes to spare and lightning quick i started driving. I needed to get there on time. I needed this job. I needed to meet Landon.
