was the jenna thing really received that badly by other writers? I only remember hearing her say something about a line about her character saying she loved a dress and then her turning and saying oh my god i can’t believe i just said that, or something to that effect I don’t remember exactly. Tbf we only had her side obviously, but it was a cringey line when she described it. Was there something else she said that pissed off writers?

if she wants to be a writer this bad she should join us at the picket lines every single day. do you know how difficult that made things for EVERYONE on that set??? the script supervisor alone must have made voodoo dolls of her and cursed her every day lol and only "sitting down" with writers AFTER you changed the script and shot it however you wanted to shoot it??? that is not how ANY of this works. at all.

scripts go through months of work a quite literally dozens of approval layers before they make it to actors. she blatantly disrespected the writers but with this bullshit she's also disrespecting the studio, the streamer, all the producers, and everyone else who read those scripts for months and said "great this is locked lets shoot it". it's not just one person who has eyes on a script. a writer doesnt wake up one day and say "this is how it goes". you sit your ass in a room for months, you pitch stories and character arcs to the studios and networks, they have notes, you make changes, they approve it, then you write outlines, they have notes, you make changes, they approve it, then you go to script, those scripts get rewritten fifty billion times because everyoneeeeeeeee at every stage has notes, you rewrite them and after anywhere between 4 months to a year of working on this you finally get all shooting scripts approved. then you go into production only to start seeing cuts of episodes that were supposed to be a certain way coming back totally different and you're like "what the actual fuck is going on???" and you hear that the kid who's been alive for less time than you've been a writer decided to just...throw six months of work out the window because she felt like it??? yeah no. every single writer was rightfully pissed and clearly still are. that's just bad form and unprofessional as shit.
