This picture demonstrates the pay gap that exists between men and women. Women tend to earn lower salaries than men despite having the same profession as them. Women equally work as hard a man does, but sadly does not get the recognition she deserves. This is one of the biggest consequences of having a male-dominated society. They see men as being “smarter than women”, “stronger than women”, and “putting more knowledge and effort into their work than women”. If a woman works twice as harder than a man does, the man would still earn a higher salary than the woman. This has to end. A new beginning has to be created where equal pay is granted to both women and men.
