Here’s another time capsule from a photoshoot with a younger model/actor Joseph Cannata in 2009 @josephcannats . Back then, I wasn’t as detailed-oriented as I am now. I wasn’t watching out for finer details like keeping your subject’s hand open so that fingers don’t look cut off or pinning pants & shirts so that they adhere to the body. You’re telling an uncomplicated story but there’s hurdles that can distract on a photograph. As a photographer, you have to be able to look at the forrest but also the trees: both big picture view and a more focussed view.
