It is our philosophy that infused teas are far superior to ‘blended’ teas. We’ve provided our series of tea recipes to illustrate how beautiful these worldly traditions can be. A customer asked whether our teas were “fair trade" and we answered “some." To clarify, we explained that the teas not officially “certified fair trade" come from villages that have been supported by tea continuously for over 1500 years and that such an improbable history illustrates extraordinarily sustainable business practices. Plus all of our teas are sourced direct. So, we know exactly where our money is going! When it comes to socially responsible business practices, we remain humble in our belief that we stand to learn more from our growers and producers than they can learn from us! http://josephwesleyblacktea.tumblr.com/post/55098662734/a-customer-asked-whether-our-teas-were-fair See more tea posts you’ll love.
