I remember reading an old Moonlight (2007) blog post recently saying that Mick was happy that Josh (Beth's boyfriend) died.... I don't think that person understands Mick's character or watched the episode at all he was definitely upset that Josh died especially since he was a special person in Beth's life he even tries to save him using techniques that he learned as a medic in WW 2

does Josh being dead make it easier for Mick and Beth to be together? Yes but Its definitely not something that Mick is happy about

If Moonlight had been continued I believe Josh would have come back.

I headcanon him as the one who sent the list with the names of all vampires in the last episode. Josh canonically died when he was about to uncover the criminal activities of the HEM gang. It's not a stretch that he could be involved in uncovering a secret vampire society. And it would add really nice drama between Josh, Beth and Mick. Also, supposedly dead charakters show up again all the time in Moonlight, best exanple is Coraline. So why not Josh?

I really want to write something with Mick and Josh being forced to spend time with each other... I'm thinking no Beth just 2 awkward dudes who are in love w the same woman trapped in a situation together ... their relationship is so funny they're both so polite to each other and they try not to be jealous for Beth's sake so it's just like "Oh Mick yeah he seems like a good guy, we should invite him over" and "crap I'm in love with Beth but Josh is so nice wtf"
