Why Moonlight deserved more seasons:

Causality of the 2007 writers strike…. Even if the vampire/human premise and not-like-other-girlsness of Beth was pretty standard, there were so many compelling supporting characters that I was invested in too! It was different than many vampire stories circulating at the time too. I have often thought about how I would have extended the given episodes and even added a final arc for a solid 5 season show,

It had a great cast. Intriguing relationships. Interesting look on vampires. And had so much more to tell.

Why Daybreak deserved more seasons:

It was such a fun and interesting show and I would have liked more of it. The characters are nicely fleshed out, the context is fun

Just found out that the composer for the music for one of my Cancelled After One Season Vampire Show I Love shows, Dracula (2013), also did the music for my OTHER Cancelled After One Season Vampire Show I Love show, Moonlight.

Not only that, but he also did the music for all of Netflix Castlevania. Apparently this is the guy you call when you want to score weirdly good little pieces of vampire media that have a modern bite to them and honestly the similarities between the vibes on all three are so strong now I'm wondering who else in production they have in common...

Re-watching Moonlight again and for the first I wondered what would happen if Sarah (Josef’s human girlfriend) from the episode “Sleeping Beauty” took the “cure” for vampirism. Like would she stay in a coma, would she be able to wake up and what would happen once the cure wore off?

Idk why today was the first time I thought about this. I guess I just never really thought about it because the cure is lost after Mick gets it so wouldn’t be possible for Sarah to get the cure anyway and they kind of drop the character until a brief mention in the season finale.

Why Moonlight deserved more seasons:

It had a great cast. Intriguing relationships. Interesting look on vampires. And had so much more to tell.

Why Transformers Animated deserved more seasons:

The fourth season was actually planned but then scrapped which led to toys and plotlines being cancelled. If you look at the Allspark Almanac, they had plans for a Shattered Glass arc, the ending felt rushed and was barely satisfying, there are plot threads teased within the Almanac that hint to more ideas that would have been in Season 4 and the future of the show. Genuinely if you didn't read the comics that came out after its cancellation, you would also think that some characters had actually died where in actuality they're alive. So much potential, all shut due to Hasbro waning to push Transformers Prime because they wanted to launch a show on their own network.
