Palastic has a sound unlike any other. Combining pop and house, their debut song released on Soundcloud, “Far Away”, features the vocals of Josh Roa over a smooth guitar, light keys, and dampened, steady beats. This is a house song that doesn’t feel like a house song. I’d almost dare to call this alternative house because I don’t really think there’s any existing genre that this type of song fits under. And those kinds of songs happen to be some of my favorite songs.
