UK terfs keep losing their mind about a masculine looking person being within 100 meters of "sacred mother daughter bonding spaces" just the same way homophobic twats used to act about two gay men raising a daughter cause there is nothing that can replace the holy relationship between mother and girl and

jfc it's so gross. I had the unfortunate experience of an entire girlhood and none of this is real. My dad had always been kinder to me about "girl" problems than any woman doctor or teacher or relative. Bra fitting isn't some coming of age ritual, it's my mother suggesting losing weight could reduce my cup size since nothing fits, and female employees sneering at me when I asked if they have anything above a D cup. Anyway, I feel like "somewhat queer seeming man helping with clothing and even somewhat intimate fitting" has been vaguely accepted as safe since the 90s in some places.

Changing rooms in swimming pools? even with lockable cabins? no no terfs argue it's too scary. how about grandpa and/or dad holding up a towel while politely turning their head as the kids get changed in a make shift towel tent? I saw someone losing their mind about men being outside of fitting rooms in stores. All my life those have been mixed with chairs outside for men to sit and dissociate between outfit changes, not leaving because they'd be asked for an opinion or to go fetch a different size.

even bathrooms, I have witnessed men walking into women's bathrooms with little daughters, in a hurry because it's a LITTLE daughter. and all the women's instinctive reaction was "do you want me to take her to a cabin? do you need help holding your bags? do you need to change a nappy, we can help" because clearly that's a dad dealing with the stress of being out with a very small child

idk man, maybe it's because I grew up im Germany where nudity is less sexualised. or because my family is from a "mixed saunas are absolutely normal" culture. Or I got lucky with the men in my family being decent human beings and having experienced more men being compassionate about stuff like periods than women

Obviously this is targeting trans women (or cis women of colour or cis lesbians or anyone who isn't feminine enough) and that's infuriating on its own. but I feel doubly insulted by these dumb fucking women making a thing of it. as a trans man I mean. I feel insulted by this weird revisionism about what it's like growing up as a girl, this weird idea that motherhood makes women perfect human beings and no mother has ever been cruel or failed at "guiding a girl through adolescence". that wasn't my experience. I feel insulted as someone whose male relatives were excellent role-models for being a good man, and as a man who is sick of masculinity never getting to be good in their eyes. I'm sick of the idea that men and women are different species somehow. fucking hell

my brother has become a different person I don't know anymore due to a toxic alcohol fueled relationship he got in after he left his stable and nice nurse ex-girlfiend

still mourning lux

wildly overpriced apartment that keeps getting more expensive and i don't even have a dishwasher and have constant roach problems

had to vent. i am very fed up.
