sometimes I chuckle looking at my current journal. when my sister-in-law got it monogrammed with my initials and the year before gifting it to me for christmas she probably didn’t realize it would serve as a warning when I come sifting through old journals looking for something to read later in life. she accidentally did me a favor by letting future-hallee know that this is the one where things got weird and there were arrows on all the floors. since I doubt that normalcy will make a comeback in 2021, I reckon the covers of all my journals going forward should indicate the year which is being documented...just as a head’s up.
