Hi. I'm looking for a fic where Blaine has children, and I think he was an influencer or had a daddy vlog or something like that. Kurt was some type of journalist sent to do a story on the family. That's all I remember.
Thanks
This one is still a WIP - 7 out of 10 chapters. ~Jen
Influence my heart by @madas-ahatters-world
Kurt Hummel, a journalist for one of the biggest magazines in Los Angeles (and a modern-day Grinch) is assigned to interview social media influencer Blaine Anderson for their upcoming article, TikTok Dads of the Year. Being the cynic that he is, and having no choice in the matter, he reluctantly hops on a plane to New York not expecting to stay more than a few days to get what he needs.
But in the few days that he's there getting to know the ins and outs of Blaine's life, and witnessing the courage and strength it takes for him to raise his children alone, Kurt finds himself royally screwed when he realizes he's falling for the dapper influencer and his three young kids.
I need help finding a fic. Blaine is a dad and I think he's on social media and has a following. Kurt is a writer or a journalist and is sent to do a story on Blaine.
Thanks
Here it is, currently 7 chapters out of 10! ~Jen

Summary: Kurt is very excited about his first assignment as a journalist: he’ll interview the new boy band sensation, the Warblers. It means he’ll get to talk to the most handsome man alive, Cooper Anderson. But once Kurt meets the band – Cooper, sarcastic Sebastian, boy-next-door Sam, and Cooper’s brother Blaine – it’s the younger Anderson that steals his heart over the course of a single night.
Tropes/Genre: boyband, musician!Blaine, alternate meeting, Cooper Anderson, journalist!Kurt
Lynne’s review: This is very cute. I love the dynamic between Kurt and Blaine.
Any fics where Kurt is super famous and Blaine is a paparazzi?
I only know of one fic where it’s the other way around: Blaine is famous and Kurt is a journalist. Readers, if you know any fics with this premise, please let us know. - HKVoyage
I Really Want It by blackrose1002
Kurt Hummel, an aspiring, young journalist, after being neglected at work for such a long time, finally gets his chance to prove himself. The only thing he needs is something or someone to write about. He's still waiting for the inspiration to come, but what if the opportunity waits just around the corner?
Kurt speed walks into the front doors of the building. He flashes his pass to the woman on the phone, she nods and smiles and Kurt smiles back as he hastily walks to elevator. He clicks the up button multiply times in a row and bounces a little bit as he waits.
“Shit, shit, shit.” He mumbles under his breath as the elevator doors open and he steps on. He presses the third floor button and leans against the back wall breathing out a sigh of relief.
He was beyond late. Normally he would have been set up and ready to go for at least an hour before he was scheduled to be at the interview, but today his alarm clock went off late. He had practically sprung out of bed and had to throw on the best outfit he could think of and then hauled his ass downstairs to hail a cab, which took a lot longer than it should have.
He checked his bag for the millionth time to make sure that everything was there. Tape recorder, notepad, wallet, keys, and phone, everything was set. His breathing steadied a little bit because of this, he was lucky to have showered let alone gotten everything he needed. He bounced a little bit when he noticed he was almost there.
“C’mon, c’mon.” Kurt breathed out; he was annoyed with an elevator. He tapped his foot with anxiety when he heard the ding and the doors flew open. He practically sprinted out and down the hall to the main doors that opened up to a huge office space.
Kurt slammed against the desk, the lady at the desk jumped at his sudden presence. “May I help you?” She looked over the sweaty and read faced male.
Kurt fumbles with his pass. “Y-yes! I am here to see a… a…” Shit. I forgot his name. He dug in his bag for the slip of paper that always had his people’s names on them. When he got a grasp on it, he ripped it out of the bag and glanced at it. “A … Blaine Devon Anderson.” The woman suppressed a smile.
“Very good. He should be straight down this hall.” She pointed behind her. “Just two doors down and it should be the door in the right.”
Kurt nodded at her and sped down the hall. Never had he been this late in his whole career. Sure working with a few of his friends on a small blog site wasn’t exactly a life or death sort of thing, but he knew Lisa had bent over backwards to get an interview with this guy and he didn’t want to let her down. Of course Kurt couldn’t care less about the guy, a few questions, maybe a few stories and he would be done within an hour but this meant a huge deal to the site. Blaine was famous, at least that’s Kurt was told, and to get an interview with him was apparently the thing that would sky rocket their little blog into a huge success. He couldn’t screw this up, he just couldn’t.
When he pushed open the doors to a photo shoot setting he saw that no one was there, he breathed a sigh of relief as he sat down on the couch on the other side of the room. Maybe Blaine was late as well, maybe he went out for some breakfast and Kurt could say that he had been waiting there the whole time. God, why did he even agree to this anyways?
After ten minutes, Kurt was just ready to get up and leave. This guy might have been a big deal in Lisa’s books but he was big enough in Kurt’s book. Just as Kurt started packing up his stuff, a small handsome man came running in the room.
He was breathing heavily. “Hey! Sorry I am so late, I woke up late and I just- No excuse. I am so sorry for being late.”
Kurt swallowed. He couldn’t exactly say it, but damn was Blaine attractive.
Blaine put his hand out. “Blaine.”
“Kurt.” He said as he shook his hand. This was going to be an interesting interview.
I can't believe he shared the cookies with you, since he usually inhales the whole batch on his own. He said you were awesome and giggled. GIGGLED. He's not even gay, Anderson. I call witchcraft.
Kurt, in Little Bit of Feel Good
