BBC censures staff over calling Hamas a 'terror group' | The Jerusalem Post
During a 15 June 2025 news broadcast, a presenter referred to Hamas as "the terror group," leading to complaints from viewers.
For reasons connected with due accuracy and impartiality, the BBC’s Editorial Guidelines say, ‘The term “terrorist” should only be used with attribution, i.e., when quoting or citing its use by others.’ As the ECU saw no material difference in this context between ‘terror group’ and ‘terrorist group’, it found the use of the phrase complained of was a breach of the BBC’s editorial standards.
Bullshit.
Government proscribes terrorist group Hamas in its entirety

You Lost Me At “Horrible”
I was reading an article by Jason Easley, “The Russians Are Getting Heavily Involved In The Brett Kavanaugh Confirmation Fight“.
Good article, well researched, it cited Hamilton 68 information and shared a few graphs. It seemed fair and objective and I was about to blog it when I got to the final two paragraphs.
Then an overwhelming bias took over the author and my previous assessment of fair and…

Don’t say make an unstated exception allowing anti-immigrant or anti-disabled slurs and dehumanization, and an unwritten rule banning other posts objecting to slurs and dehumanization.

I keep getting temp-banned for posts objecting to slurs and dehumanization. I think the slurs, and the general sense that we don’t deserve the same rights as abled neurotypical people, encourage the discrimination, inaccessibility, endangerment, and violence we may face for being disabled and/or neurodivergent.
