✨ Small Task, Big Energy Shift ✨
You know that little task on your to-do list—the one that takes maybe two minutes? Knocking it out right away isn’t just efficient, it’s energizing. Starting with a quick win creates momentum. It shifts your focus from planning to doing, and clears out that low-level mental clutter we tend to carry around. Because let’s be honest: reviewing it, slotting it into a calendar, then circling back later… that’s often procrastination dressed up as productivity. When we take quick action, we send ourselves a simple but powerful message: “You’ve got this.” And that encouragement ripples through the rest of the day. Efficiency isn’t about rushing—it’s about alignment. Small actions that move us forward with intention. 💫
I have a shelf full of journals, each one a testament to the different versions of myself over the years. It’s like a library of my own evolution.

Thoughts thoughts thoughts
I've had tumblr, on and off, since 2009 and I've been sharing my silly little thoughts on this silly little blog for 13 years. (And in doing so, I think I've made an invaluable space of self reflection...I don't actually think they're silly thoughts...except for maybe that one phase where I was obsessed with eggs) Having access to musings from your college days is ... enlightening? If anything, it's a good practice in self love, because WOW it takes effort to read my 19-year old opinions without crumbling internally. But I'd say it's also healing when you realize you've achieved a lot of goals that you once thought were impossible to reach. While the actual act of sorting through my archives was exhausting (again..13 years) I'm glad I did it. I'm glad I reminded myself of why this space is so important. I hope it's there for another decade to reflect back onto. For now I can share some general musings from the past two years: - I started 2020 without a career (and honestly that's still tbd) - Isolation and quarantine began during my first year of being married -Interracial marriages have very interesting nuances to navigate when it comes to extended family. - I reconnected with cousins and family that I hadn't been able to see for ten years. - A close friend, who I thought I would grow old with, parted ways with me. I'm thankful for what we had and nothing can change my mind on that. - I turned 30 and realized that some of the friends who stuck with me through these past three years are the most irreplaceable and remarkable people I have ever met.
