Echofaze Productions, Silverscreen Entertainment and Drake World Entertainment bring you the most popular and phenomenal Lolas (grandmothers) in Philippine television today, "JoWaPao Live in San Diego' on March 24 at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido.
The three comedians Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros play the roles of the three grandmothers Lola Nidora, Lola Tidora and Lola Tinidora to Yaya Dub (Maine Mendoza) in this soap opera parody seen within the "Juan for All, All for Juan" segment of the longest running noontime show in the Philippines, Eat Bulaga, aired on GMA Network and GMA Pinoy TV around the world. The success of the show, which also stars Philippine's most popular heartthrob Alden Richards, prompted promoters to bring the three grandmothers to California to share two hours of good vibes and laughter to fellow Filipinos already living in the United States. Jose, Wally and Paolo or collectively known as JoWaPao will be joined by Barbie Forteza and Andre Paras in entertaining Filipino San Diegans on March 24 at the concert hall of the California Center for the Arts. Forteza and Paras are both talents from GMA Network who also star in their own television show "That's My Amboy" airing on the same network.
