I love the theory that Kris is working with Carol and the Knight, probably because Carol manipulated them. They're not happy to be doing it but thinks they have no other choice because of whatever conditions Carol laid out for them.

To me Ralsei reads heavily as transfemme-enby (any pronouns) He also reads as someone who could be on the aro spectrum! His egg hasn't cracked yet because she hasn't rly thought too much about gender like at all. I also need to project my "general inability to distinguish romantic and platonic love but knows its different somehow??? just trust me dude" bullshit onto him lol

Ralsei is the pink horns headband and her appearance is based on a monster version of themself that Kris drew when they were little. They try to ignore this when Noelle shows them her cool new wizard OC, Ralsei.

I don't have a deep analysis or excuse for Kris/Berdly I just think it's really fucking funny.

Susie is also making friends for the first time and a lot of her feelings are REALLY BIG and really hard to define. I think she wouldn't care too much about labels, though, she has loved ones and for the first time ever she feels like she belongs somewhere. She hopes she's able to make them feel the same way too.

You ever think about how Kris and Noelle both slowly but surely lost everything after Dess disappeared. And how they're the only tether to their old lives they both have left. But they're still not as close as they used to be and neither of them knows how to bridge that gap as desperately as they both want to. Yeah. Yeah I think about that a lot.
