The work that I do encourage me to start living well. That meant that I needed to take care of my temple and intentionally practice self-care. This was a game-changer for me. Today marks 42 days of my lifestyle change. Reading. Researching. Journaling. Breathing. Living. It’s too easy to follow others; therefore, I suggest finding what works for you. What I’m doing is working…it’s speaking to my mind, body, and spirit. My thoughts? Take the time to find what works for you. 1) Start by reading Psalms 139. 2) Spend time in meditation and prayer. 3) Get to know yourself better. Ask yourself tough questions related to how you feel, sleep, eat, breathe, etc. Be honest with yourself. 4) Decide where you will begin. Start there. 5) No one else needs to know. You do not need another person to validate what you have decided to do based on your time with God. 6) Realize you’re not in a race. Take one day at a time. 7) Agree with yourself to make changes if something isn’t working. Commit to yourself that you will never throw in the towel. Forty-two days ago, I made a decision. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m doing it one day at a time. It’s not conventional, but it’s working for me. I won’t tell you what because that defeats the point of you finding what will work for your DNA and how God has uniquely designed you for His purpose and glory. From time to time, I will share things as He releases me to do so. Today I’ll share this plant-based toothpaste by @davidsnaturaltoothpaste, which is amazing! I believe that a life change has to be holistic…not just what we eat, but what we wear, use on our bodies, how we breathe, exercise, and think. #JoyfulSunday, everyone. #life #startsomewhere #healing #mindbodyspirit #wholeness #wellness https://www.instagram.com/p/CQ5_bC4Ll8a/?utm_medium=tumblr
